見てて綺麗なジャパネスク本
レシピに無理はないか？と感じるのは、
タオさんが　N.Y在住で　私がJAPAN在住だからなのだろうか？　
キクの花を使った化粧水レシピも等についても　キクの効用も何も
説明がなくて表示されてもね。あずきの粉？紫芋のパウダー？抹茶？
色や、日本素材に　こだわるのは分かるけど、手作りコスメは
効能が第一条件よ！と思って始める女性には　しっくりこないかも。
30分もあれば　読み終えちゃうような内容かな～。
石鹸についても　力が入ってなかったしね。

お気に入りの本です。
たおさんの本を何冊か持っていますが、私の一番のお気に入りです。
私は前作よりもこっちの方が好きだったりします。
作ってみたいと思っても、材料を揃えるのが大変だったりすると
挫折してしまうのですが、この本は材料を揃えやすいレシピが多いと思います。
身近な材料を見直すいい機会にもなりました。
確かに「和」のレシピと言う事で、愛用しているレシピばかりではないかもしれません。
でも、たおさんが心を込めて作ったレシピだと思います。私は大好きな本です。

美しいですが、無理も感じます
写真は美しいですし、「和」の持つよさを再認識するという
意味ではいい本だと思います。
しかしこの本の中のレシピはかならずしも愛用レシピだけではなく、
あとがきにもあるように出版社に和風でというリクエストを受けて
急ごしらえで考え出されたレシピも含まれていると思います。
例えば日本に住んでいても手に入りづらい紫芋パウダーを使う
レシピがありますが、NYに住む著者が愛用しているレシピとは
考えがたいです。
